The first weeks of the new year I was getting sh#@ done!!! Got my routines with work, gym, and art all going smooth. Then the stuffy head, watery eyes, scratchy throat and body aches decided to challenge my spirit of staying on track. It got me for one day. But I bounced back and I am very proud to say that I have met my goal and finished a painting for the month of January!!!
The first completed painting for 2019 is "Matinee Today" which I am very happy to say will be hanging along with other paintings I have done at Global Grill in Pensacola, FL.
With one now completed I can start on a new one!!!! Not wasting any time!!!! Here is the underpainting I did this evening.
This year most of my paintings will be of Pensacola, FL. I am going on my 30th year living here. Beside the Pensacola Beach Sign I have not painted much of Pensacola. There is so much great subject matter around here. Don't know why it has taken me so long to discover it. It has definitely given me a great spark to create!!! So stay tuned!!! FYI, you will eventually see that I will have several different paintings going at the same time. Will try to keep you all up on them.
